original crate - overview
I started with the 3 rod holder and added the two singles later. The 3 rod holder is a single piece which makes it sturdier when attaching with zip ties

This shows the detail on the PVC tube that rests on the front lip of the Hobie well just behind the seat.

oringinal crate - rear
This is a detail of attaching the 3-rod unit to the back of the crate. Placing the top rod holder bracket on the top edge of teh crate gives a slight angle and also makes a secure mount.
